Bed Rest =...

Baby Shower #2

Tim's work gave us a baby shower. It was so funny to watch Tim at it. He didn't really know what to do or how long to look at each gift. Since it was his work I had him do all the unwrapping.
(Tim intently investigating what is in the Survival Kit)
They spoiled us with all kinds of useful things...one being 8 frozen dinners already prepared to be put in the oven! Awesome!
(Look at this adorable cake!)
They were so generous and we are so grateful for all the people he works with.

My mom is great!

The day after I got home from the hospital I was surprised by a wonderful delivery on my front porch!
My mom knows me so well...
*no pastels
*no baby's breath
*nothing frilly
*Gerber daisies are my favorite
*red is my favorite
*cherry candy canes on the side (I hate peppermint flavor)
*sleek vase

Guess that's what happens when she has a daughter who is ultra picky...or as I like to think of it, she knows what she wants.

Thanks Mom!

What a pregnancy!

Yesterday we experienced one of the scariest events imaginable with this pregnancy...Let me just recap about how adventurous this pregnancy has been from the beginning...

*This posting by no means is a complaint fest...simply a recap of the exciting events*

7 weeks- sent to the ER and then told we lost the baby, come to find out 3 days later the doctor told us everything was fine and baby was good (weirdest, longest 3 days ever!)

8 weeks to 28 weeks- Worst morning sickness imaginable. I became best friends with the toilet and worst enemies with the thought of having to eat

20 weeks- braxton hicks start ( I could handle that)

26 weeks- contractions start, right when I had a 3 week lapse in insurance (had to slow down on the exercising)

28 weeks- sent to hospital for increasing contractions (officially had to stop working out! ahhh!)

30 weeks-got the swine flu and in a small car accident that increased my contractions (all during Thanksgiving vacation)

31 weeks- hospitalized for contractions and swine (everyone needs to chill out on the whole swine thing)

32 weeks-At rountine appointment had a Non-stress test for increasing contractions. Given a shot of something during the test, next thing I knew I was in an ambulance, after going into basically cardiac arrest from the medicine. Had bad tremors and my speech turned to stuttering and slurring. After a LONG night at the hospital and monitoring the baby, I was released. Contractions got real bad in the hospital and we thought we were for sure coming home with a baby...thank goodness they slowed down after awhile. Still having bad stuttering and my body hurts from the tremors, but thank goodness we're doing okay now. Now on modified bed rest...I should be able to watch every movie I have ever heard of now and read everything I never had time for.

Needless to say, this pregnancy has been a wild one. Tim has already grounded to kid for putting "its" parent through this. Labor should be cake after all this...right???

After everything I still managed to get a 32 week picture in (actually 2 days late)

(The strips actually make my belly look smaller...didn't know that was possible)

Life is Amazing (This one is Cheesy)

We took some great pictures on the gorgeous fall day. We had a great day together and were reminding how much we love where we live and our life together. These were to capture the beginning of Baby B's 3rd Trimester...so close, yet so far away.

Officializing Fall

Yep! We did that traditional Pumpkin Patch thing everyone does. I must say it was quite interesting. I felt like I was in Wal-Mart x 10. We saw some of the the greatest white trash ever! We went with the Wellman clan and grubbed on some bomb food and people watched. When the boys weren't looking we even snuck in some "creative" baby pictures that I think so may classify as borderline child abuse...well worth Rozzi's unhappiness for a few short moments.

My Golden Birthday

It finally arrived! My golden birthday came and went this year...I need to now face that I am closer to 30 than I am to 20. Are you freakin kidding me??? This sucks, but the b-day didn't!

We had some amigos come to our casa help remind me I am old now.

Disclaimer: I am pregnant and I my face is fat not by choice but by pregnancy. I am fully aware of it size, but thanks for noticing it as well.

(Notice the guard dog, he
won't leave Rozzi)

Labor Day Adventure

I had the "Get out of town" itch this weekend and Wellman's had the " Our baby is almost here" itch. Great combo. After every last minute idea, we came up with the greatest adventure...drum roll please...MERCED! What is there to do in Merced? you ask. One word KATHY!

We went Saturday night and tried out Jeff's famous Tequila (stop freaking out, I know I'm pregnant...the restaurant). I must say I doubted Jeff's hype...AMAAAAZING! Then we explored the wonderful word of nothing-ville and headed back to Jeff's parents casa. We had a chill-sesh with Anchorman.

Sunday we headed to Yosemite for the day. 2 pregnant chicks slowed down the excursion a bit, but I must insert that we had to drag the boys to get out of town. We were to ones willing to sleep in the back of the car, but nooo, T had to have a bed.

We found a really cool beach along the river. Tim HATES cold water. But I guess Jeff couldn't show him up and next thing I knew they were swimming in the FREEZING water. The boys went on a hike while the pregos took a stroll and people watched.

To top off the day at Yosemite, we headed back to the Wellman casa where Kathy had the most fantastic turkey sandwiches. Not just turkey, but Kathy's famous turkey. If that's not enough, she had fresh Ghiradelli brownies baking with 3 choices of ice cream. THEN she sends Tim home with a bag of beef strips from Costco! Does it get much better?! Oh how I love Kathy!

This definitely is not at cool as the Cline's seeing monkeys humping this weekend
Good times with the Wellman Clan
