Announcement Recap

5:30 a.m.: off to the gym, but decide to take a minute (or 3) and pee on a stick
(I told myself no testing earlier than that day)

After a definite yes (last pregnancy was not so clear, even after several weeks), I woke Tim up (2 days before his Birthday) and told him I had a birthday present for him..."I'm Pregnant"
then quickly ran out the door, sure not to be late for the gym (oh, how quickly that changed)
  (Not another one mom!)
Tim's parents came up the next few days (his mom already knew).
I took a picture of them...
"on 3 say, I'm Pregnant!"

(Notice his Dad is the only one who didn't know and yet no change in expression)

Next, we went down to So Cal and had a Sunday Family Dinner
(my favorite memories)

Tim took a "quick picture" before dinner
(everyone was getting hungry and grouchy at this point)
"on 3 say 'Courtney's Pregnant'...1,2,3..."
We continued to say it and snap pictures.
Watching the progression of facial expressions is hilarious

When we found out there were 2, we sent a text that had a pic of Berkeley's 8 week ultrasound and this ultra sound
It read " Find the difference in the 2 pictures".
It didn't take long for my phone to blow up.

For those who are stuck in 1999 (Dad and Grandpa L.), I called.

Dad's call:
"Just wanted to tell you I got to see Grandbaby #12 on the ultrasound today" (note: they only have 10 grankids right now).
He didn't catch on (my mom's job is to remeber the numbers).
Then I followed with "I also Grandbaby #11".
After a quick delay I could hear joy (and maybe some watery eyes)

Grandpa/Grandma's call:
Me: "Saw Great Grandbaby #15 today" (only 13 great grandkids right now)
Grandpa "Ohhh. But you mean #14"
me: Oh I saw that one too"
Instantly followed by tears and cheers from Grandma and Grandpa

It was soooo much fun announcing this special pregnancy. It was a reminder of how much support we have had through our challenges to have babies, and even more, with being blessed twice as much now.
We are so blessed to have so much love for us and our children.

flash of August

Taking a dip in the fountain
(when Mommy wasn't looking of course)
This was before she washed her hair in it
She went to her BF's B-day and flirted her way to all the sweets (without mom's consent)
 Typical Sunday morning.
Mom reads the coupons, B reads the Finance section
 Favorite summer food of choice

Tim and his favorite girls
(notice I'm no longer pictured)

1 going on 16

She is all girl!
Loves dressing up, makeup (pretend of course), purses and shoes!

Fairytale Town

We discovered the coolest place ever for toddlers, and it's super cheap too!
B was in heaven (see evidence below)
and we were in heaven watching her joyful reactions
We will definitely be going back, soon

LOOK

Who's 19 months old!
(Really, just an excuse for me to capture her beauty
and play with my new lens)

Last Year as a baby

and I'm not talking about B

That studly man I sleep next to at night hit the big 2.9.
He may not feel old, but it makes me feel better knowing he will always be older than me

This year I made up for the past 5 years of birthday celebration let downs for him

Started with a new shiny BBQ (already put together this time)
Out to breakfast at Awful Annies (He's been asking for years to go)

Bowling
A nice workout sesh for the birthday boy

and the grand finale, a surprise trip to....

RUTH'S CHRIS (this is big time for us! He has been dreaming of it for ever!)

Cheers to your 20's T

July...I didn't forget you

(MAJOR catch up...be prepared for typos, sloppy posts, and unedited pics)
I promise we did have fun in July, just not a lot of energy to brag about it

A Date with Chickens
B sleeps with a chicken every night, and we hope she doesn't put it together soon that she eats chicken nuggets everyday
She's created some new BFF's when we took her to a friend's home for B to pet and chase the chickens
Pretty much the most entertaining thing I've seen. She tried carrying them around like her baby doll

A Hike with the toddlers
A few of us decided to take a hike with the "babies", not realize how "toddler" size they have become. I figured I was EXHAUSTED from this hike from trekking hefty B around. And I mean EXHAUSTED (literallu slept the rest of the day).
Come to find out a few days later, I was carrying a toddler AND twins (Makes so much more sense now)
Good times with good friends, big and small

(pretty much the funniest story ever behind this pic...Breanne owes nature some serious clean up)

Reason 8686798307 why we love where we live
10 minutes from the lake

1st Flick Trip
B had her 1st movie experience (Dada's dream come true)
She lasted a whole 30 minutes (including the preview)

Every time fattest dog came on the the screen she would yell "BOY!" (That's what we call the obese dog of ours)
