We took a stroll on a COLD night to check out the lights

The girls were bundled and toasty...the boys were not so prepared

She was not sure what to look at on him. Not a peep from her, just an exceptionally confused look on her face. She was more interested in the janitor's trash can going by than the giant jolly old man she was kickin' it with. (Definitely more for us than her). 

I Love Christmas time (even more as a mom)

Gratitiude

I'm feeling exceptionally grateful for this lately

 

 

I look at this bambino everyday and think how blessed we are to have her here. She is a bit of a miracle to us. It was a difficult road to get pregnant, and ever more difficult being pregnant. 

I enjoy being with her everyday, but what I look forward to all day is when her daddy comes home. Those 2 drop everything when they lock eyes and the fun begins. She starts squealing and he has a grin from ear to ear. Then the fun begins.

I am thankful for the father that Berkeley has. 

I must say I feel truly blessed with our little family lately.

Months old!

and she is...drum roll please....

*Standing

*Stepping (not classifiable as walking yet)

*Fakes laughs which gives us all a real laugh (including herself)

*Has become quite obsessed fond of her baby doll (which she has named" bha bha bha")

*Feeds Achilles her snacks and when we aren't looking, helps herself to the left overs

*Newest trick: Heavy inhale through her nose while scrunching her face and laughing (that's T's description)...Not the most flattering

*Has entertained the idea of occasionally giving us a cuddle (Finally!) 

*Pretty much happy and giggly all the time

I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph my sister's actual engagement yesterday (I was worked into the plan). The pictures are amazing, but not quite ready. Congrats to Camie and Eddie!

A Whole Pregnancy...

Old today
(9 whole months)

This kid stands...
and says lots of non-sense
And loves cheerios, grapes, bananas, cheese...
And eats anything but avocado
She laughs all the time
And lights up when Daddy comes in the roomShe takes every book out and admires each one
(as though she is deciding which to read this time)
Needless to say this kid rocks our world
(and pretty fun to take pictures of too)
